The baseboard is of the shelf type running round the walls of the train room with a lift out section, 1.200 ×.150 which will allow the door to open and close when in place. Baseboard shelf dimensions: 3 m × 2.5 m with a width of 300 mm
As yet I have not thought of a name for my layout and the track plans, well they are still in the planning stage. However, the plans for the Southern staging yard are ready to go, the base board for this area is ready and this weekend I spent several enjoyable hours installing the common return wiring to power the track along with the auxiliary wiring. A temporary control panel and the isolation track switches for the southern staging yard have also be installed and tested.
